Conna Mallett and Harri Cox met during their time at Stomping Ground Brewery in Collingwood. Conna began his 4 year tenure, pouring beers at the Stomping Ground beer hall on Gipps St, and after a year of pouring beers, event work and maintenance shifts, he was invited to help out and learn the ropes in the brewery. 3 years later, Conna became the Lead Brewer of the Stomping Ground Airport brewery.

In 2018, Harrison was offered a management role back at his former employers, Mornington Peninsula Brewing. There, he was in charge of managing a large production team, stock management and ingredient ordering, recipe writing and of course, brewing. After the sale and eventual closure of the Mornington Breweries original site, Harrsion started brewing for Hop Nation Brewing Co.

We both shared the dream of owning and operating our own brewery, and with the opportunity given to us by the Theatre Royal owners Tim Heath and Felicity Cripps, we couldn't resist but pull the trigger on the chance of a lifetime. After months of hardwork and sacrifice, we effectively and efficiently utilised the 36SQM shed space we were given to use. To this day, we strive to make a consistent and quality product that our customers can rely on, and call their favourite.
